Join us for a unique 45‑minute behind‑the‑scenes tour of Project Open Hand’s downtown San Francisco headquarters. Facility Fusion attendees will see firsthand how in‑kind donations help fuel our mission and support thousands of neighbors facing health challenges. Following the tour, enjoy light refreshments, meet members of our leadership team, and learn practical ways to ensure your organization’s no‑longer‑needed assets can be responsibly redirected to local nonprofits. In addition to in‑kind contributions, Project Open Hand will also share alternative pathways to support Project Open Hand, including corporate sponsorships, grants, matched giving programs, and volunteer opportunities. These options allow individuals and companies to make a meaningful impact based on their own capacity and interests.

IFMA’s Social Impact: Facility managers from some of the Bay Area’s largest companies have strengthened Project Open Hand’s work by donating surplus furniture, fixtures, and equipment through Green Standards, IFMA’s Social Impact Partner. Their support demonstrates how thoughtful asset management can advance community health and reduce waste.

About Project Open Hand: Founded in 1985, Project Open Hand is a nonprofit organization that provides nutritious meals to Bay Area residents experiencing serious health challenges. Operating from a four‑story headquarters at 730 Polk Street — just a short 15‑minute walk from the Hilton San Francisco Union Square — this 2024 California Nonprofit of the Year prepares more than 2,500 meals every day for Californians in need.
